 The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay? The question at hand is does the Trout Slayer truly slay.... yea or nay? The Trout Slayer is made by Leland lures and I love Leland lures products. Not to long ago I did a review on there Panfish Magnet kit if you want to check that out.  The Trout Slayer is a small crawfish soft bait that is used to target multiple species of fish from bluegills to even bass and crazy enough trout.... Ive caught a lot of bluegill off this bait and warmouth but Ive yet to catch a bass and since I live in Florida trout is hard to come by lol  Trout Slayer Lets talk price. For a whole $9 and 99cents you can own the Trout Slayer. It comes with 5 different colored crawfish soft baits (watermelon red, white, black neon, natural, and huckleberry) you get 20 in total and then you get 8 1/64 ounce size 6 hooks.  The One That Got Away

Im talking a big boy... I had it.. it was so close to the bank... and then.... he broke my heart.
Okay drama aside I caught a daddy of a fish and as I got it literally 5 feet if that from the bank he took a jump and shook off and got away.... ugh I dont even want to talk about it anymore because i'm still mourning the loss lol 

BUT we did catch some other fish dont worry!

Exhibit B I caught a few of what i'm assuming to be redear sunfish because of the pattern but the ear isn't very red at all but it looks like a redear too me..... I could be wrong.... i'm not 100% sure haha. I caught these using live redworms.

Exhibit C a new species at first I was like what are this? But Google image search always comes through and it is a topminnow and I caught this alien on redworms also.
