 The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay? The question at hand is does the Trout Slayer truly slay.... yea or nay? The Trout Slayer is made by Leland lures and I love Leland lures products. Not to long ago I did a review on there Panfish Magnet kit if you want to check that out.  The Trout Slayer is a small crawfish soft bait that is used to target multiple species of fish from bluegills to even bass and crazy enough trout.... Ive caught a lot of bluegill off this bait and warmouth but Ive yet to catch a bass and since I live in Florida trout is hard to come by lol  Trout Slayer Lets talk price. For a whole $9 and 99cents you can own the Trout Slayer. It comes with 5 different colored crawfish soft baits (watermelon red, white, black neon, natural, and huckleberry) you get 20 in total and then you get 8 1/64 ounce size 6 hooks.  Did I Just Catch A Crappie?


I had just bought some zoom watermelon flukes and decided im going to try and catch some bass.....and I did. First I caught a pretty decent size one.

But then I got a hit from this black crappie to my surprise. Ive never caught a crappie before so I was pretty excited about it.

Then I caught two more bass about the same size. A couple little guys so ill only show one of them

I caught 4 fish within about 30 minutes then I got hung up and left HA! Good times.
