The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay?

The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay? The question at hand is does the Trout Slayer truly slay.... yea or nay? The Trout Slayer is made by Leland lures and I love Leland lures products. Not to long ago I did a review on there Panfish Magnet kit if you want to check that out.  The Trout Slayer is a small crawfish soft bait that is used to target multiple species of fish from bluegills to even bass and crazy enough trout.... Ive caught a lot of bluegill off this bait and warmouth but Ive yet to catch a bass and since I live in Florida trout is hard to come by lol  Trout Slayer Lets talk price. For a whole $9 and 99cents you can own the Trout Slayer. It comes with 5 different colored crawfish soft baits (watermelon red, white, black neon, natural, and huckleberry) you get 20 in total and then you get 8 1/64 ounce size 6 hooks. Thats decent for the price in my opinion. Trout Slayer Crawfish+Hooks You maybe wondering.... Okay sounds good but how do I fish this thing? Well i...

What I Think About The Quick Trigger 5' Ugly Stik

What I Think About The Quick Trigger 5' Ugly Stik

Long story short the quick trigger ugly stik is a great affordable pole. I have caught 5 bass successfully and lost 3 (my fault I mean how hard is it to set the hook lol) and i've only used it 3 times so far. The quick trigger ugly stick is a 5' pole and it comes with an ugly stik reel that holds up to 10lb test. You can purchase this combo at Walmart its $29.96 plus $3.36 for the 2 year warranty here in Florida.

The ugly stik reel is really smooth I like using it even though it only has one bearing. Im not going to lie I was surprised that it only has one bearing lol I didn't realize it until I made this post lol which is impressive.

Heres one of the bass I caught using this pole. This day I hooked 4 but only successfully brought in 2(again set the hook gosh lol). The second one I caught was bigger but it swallowed the hook... UGH... So once I got it out I was only worried about getting the fish back into the water. He or she swam away happily thank goodness!

I used a black and blue flake senko on a Texas rig to catch both fish.
