 The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay? The question at hand is does the Trout Slayer truly slay.... yea or nay? The Trout Slayer is made by Leland lures and I love Leland lures products. Not to long ago I did a review on there Panfish Magnet kit if you want to check that out.  The Trout Slayer is a small crawfish soft bait that is used to target multiple species of fish from bluegills to even bass and crazy enough trout.... Ive caught a lot of bluegill off this bait and warmouth but Ive yet to catch a bass and since I live in Florida trout is hard to come by lol  Trout Slayer Lets talk price. For a whole $9 and 99cents you can own the Trout Slayer. It comes with 5 different colored crawfish soft baits (watermelon red, white, black neon, natural, and huckleberry) you get 20 in total and then you get 8 1/64 ounce size 6 hooks. I Caught Some Bluegill But The Wasps Ran Me Out


Anyone who knows me knows I hate a wasp......loathe them lol. So im catching some bluegill as you see below off of white flour tortillas lol minding my business.

But then these wasp show up and they are like on steroids and i'm on a dock trying to dip and dodge because there not shy and are getting to close for comfort. So after a bit I was like OKAY IM OUT OF HERE lol.These bluegill were really pretty though I caught 4 but three of them had this iridescent coloring to them. Also this lake had really bad algae bloom in November 2024 and now its clearing up thank God because I really enjoy this spot when the wasps aren't around of course lol
