 The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay? The question at hand is does the Trout Slayer truly slay.... yea or nay? The Trout Slayer is made by Leland lures and I love Leland lures products. Not to long ago I did a review on there Panfish Magnet kit if you want to check that out.  The Trout Slayer is a small crawfish soft bait that is used to target multiple species of fish from bluegills to even bass and crazy enough trout.... Ive caught a lot of bluegill off this bait and warmouth but Ive yet to catch a bass and since I live in Florida trout is hard to come by lol  Trout Slayer Lets talk price. For a whole $9 and 99cents you can own the Trout Slayer. It comes with 5 different colored crawfish soft baits (watermelon red, white, black neon, natural, and huckleberry) you get 20 in total and then you get 8 1/64 ounce size 6 hooks. Panfish Magnet.... A Closer Look

Lets take a closer look at the panfish magnet. Its created by Leland Lures who also makes the trout magnet and the crappie magnet. The label says it all really... this is a panfish magnet meaning you can catch all types of panfish with this set because panfish are attracted to the grub like body and the variety of colors available in this kit.

You get 12 1/64oz size 8 hooks and 7 different color split-tail grub bodies.

The colors you get are 10 bison, 10 bulldog, 10 bumble bee, 10 black/green, 10 mealworm, 10 purple haze, and 10 brown. Your going to want to use a ultra light rod with 2-4 lb test when using this kit that way you can cast better. I also like to use the EZ trout floats when using the panfish magnet. Make sure to adjust the float accordingly.

Ive caught a lot of bluegills and warmouth using the panfish magnet. If you read some of my older posts you see that I state when I use the panfish magnet to catch fish. If your thinking about getting it I think its worth it to try. Be patient and learn how to use it ( theres tips written on the inside lid) because at first I was getting frustrated because it "wasn't working" (because I didn't read the tips on the inside lid lol) but I learned I needed to adjust the float accordingly, slow down my retrieval, and try different colors when one wasn't working then before I knew it I was catching fish!
