The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay?

The Trout Slayer. Does It Really Slay? The question at hand is does the Trout Slayer truly slay.... yea or nay? The Trout Slayer is made by Leland lures and I love Leland lures products. Not to long ago I did a review on there Panfish Magnet kit if you want to check that out.  The Trout Slayer is a small crawfish soft bait that is used to target multiple species of fish from bluegills to even bass and crazy enough trout.... Ive caught a lot of bluegill off this bait and warmouth but Ive yet to catch a bass and since I live in Florida trout is hard to come by lol  Trout Slayer Lets talk price. For a whole $9 and 99cents you can own the Trout Slayer. It comes with 5 different colored crawfish soft baits (watermelon red, white, black neon, natural, and huckleberry) you get 20 in total and then you get 8 1/64 ounce size 6 hooks. Thats decent for the price in my opinion. Trout Slayer Crawfish+Hooks You maybe wondering.... Okay sounds good but how do I fish this thing? Well i...

Oh My Bass! Is That An Owl?

Oh My Bass! Is That An Owl?

If you live in Central Florida you gotta check out Meads Botanical garden in Winter Park its free and a really awesome place to go. I went to have a picnic with my other half and to fish but.... there was an owl spotting. This was the second time i've seen an owl here and every time is awesome because lets face it owls are magical. Before I get too deep on the owl... BEHOLD a bass.

Okay now BEHOLD a sleeping owl.....

Now try not to freak out but this owl woke up and flew over and landed on a tree right next to me..... CRAZY... Not only did it fly in a tree right next to me it was starring me down hard because I was fishing lol. So I did what anyone would do.....I rigged my bass pole to a panfishing pole and caught two bluegill and tossed them to the owl one at a time and backed up and it flew down and collected its bounty lol MAGICAL.

Oh and I used a green pumpkin curly tailed worm to catch the bass lol
