Bass Fishing Turkey Lake Park

This was my first time fishing at Turkey Lake Park in Orlando, FL and to be honest I wasn't feeling too confident I was going to catch anything.. It was a busy weekend day and it was so hot but I thought ehh why not give it a go lol. There was a long floating dock I tried first using the Texas rig and nothing. I tried a few different color senkos and it just wasn't happening. I also tried the frog in some lily pads again... nothing. So I walked back to the bank and thought hmmm the water is kinda rough I don't think a topwater is going to work but i'm going to try it anyways lol and my second cast next to some vegetation in the water a bass comes up and hits the Hula Popper.. I was not expecting that but i'll take it! lol
